Long Island Community Fellowship celebrates the moments that we spend together strengthening our family bonds. We believe that community and family are built on the foundation that we spend time together praying as well as engaging in other social activities. The scripture states that the joy of the Lord is our strength and we pride ourselves on having joyful times together, both in a church setting, as well as socially. God wants and encourages us to have a good time while building healthy, life changing friendships.
We delight in doing things together as a family because it encourages individual growth and fulfillment. Our family atmosphere provides lifetime friendships, a feeling of belongingness, social interaction, a support system and involvement in our community. Our social outings give us a chance to bond with one another by having “good old clean fun”.
LICF gets together for events such as: Dinner and a movie, Game night, Apple picking tours, Birthday parties, BBQs, Dances, Picnics, Camping, sightseeing in NYC and much more.
One of our favorite events is our Annual LICF Family Vacation where we travel around the world one vacation at a time together. We travel both domestically and internationally exploring such places as Bermuda, Canada, California, Mexico, and Alaska. Typically all planned on a gorgeous cruise ship that doesn’t break the budget.
Memories with our church family are something we cherish. We would love for you to join our family fun and help us create many more memories.

Having grown up in the church and being a religious person, I was searching for a christian church. Believing the rhetoric of mankind, I never felt comfortable or acceptable in other churches. Finding a glbt-friendly church has meant the world to me. I serve in many capacities to my enjoyment, including the choir, which I was raised in. It is my knew-found family here.
