Saturday, May 12, 2018, Long Island Community Fellowship has partnered with the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS (NBLCA) to present this amazing Youth Summit
“A Healthy Me” is a full-day Summit designed for youth ages 13-18 to provide an engaging, interactive day of learning and discovery of essential life skills necessary for HIV prevention; gender equality; and human equity.
• Increase understanding of social norms and practices concerning sexuality, gender and relationships to better contribute positively to humanity;
• Improve knowledge in sexual and reproductive health for protection against STIs including HIV;
• Acquire tools to be better equipped to face other challenges in life, especially during the transition period from childhood to adulthood.
