We as Believers can sometimes get tired of the constant battle that comes with our faith walk. The good news, however, is that we have been equipped to do battle in order to walk in victory. As we live out our lives here on earth, a genuinely practical and helpful principle for us to consider can be found in The Book of Ecclesiastes [3:1] which reminds us that…
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”
And for our purpose, seasons are time frames that are allotted for something to happen in our life. Some seasons we like and others well, we just can’t wait for them to be over. Thus, at any given moment, the question for us will always be, “what season am I in”? After all, a season can bring changes; challenges; or expose champions.
There comes a season of blessing, that we typically do not want to leave it. But when the season of “God where are you?” hits, many times we are just praying that we’ll make it through. But guess what, we cannot pray away a season. For that reason, our perspective is crucial because God has a plan despite our feelings. So, what do we do and how do we react to our seasons? Quite simply, whatever season you are in, learn to Rejoice! Embrace the good, the bad and the ugly. Hold onto the words of the Apostle Paul who wrote
[Philippians 4:4-5]“4Rejoice in God always. Again, I will say, rejoice! – i.e., cheerful, be glad, happy – 5Let your gentleness show in your treatment of all people. God is near”…. because our “Loving God is with us”
